At SHANTHINIKETHANA School in Bangalore, we strive to create a harmonious and structured environment for your child’s growth. Below are our guidelines to ensure smooth interactions and operations:

Feedback and Communication :

and allow parents to discuss their child’s progress with teachers.

Arrival and Departure Guidelines:

  • Settling-In Period: During the initial days, children will stay at school for 30 minutes to an hour, depending on their comfort level. This gradual introduction helps children adapt smoothly to the school environment. The duration will increase in stages by approximately 30 minutes.
  • Punctuality: Children must arrive on time, neither early nor late, as punctuality is the first step toward installing discipline.
  • Authorized Pick-Up: Children will be handed over only to authorized individuals. If there is a change in the designated person, the school office must be informed via a call, or the new individual must carry a written authorization letter.

Uniform Policy

  • Monday to Friday: Uniform shoes, and socks.
  • Saturday: White shirt, blue shorts, comfortable shoes, and socks.
  • Jewelry is not permitted for safety reasons.

Attendance and Absence

  • If a child cannot attend school, parents must inform the administration via a phone call.
  • For extended absences, a written letter addressed to the Principal must be submitted.

Health and Safety:

  • Children who are unwell should not be sent to school to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all.
  • If a child falls sick during school hours, parents will be notified and requested to pick up the child promptly.
  • Minor injuries like cuts or bruises will be attended to by staff and reported to parents. For accidents requiring medical attention, parents will be informed immediately, and the school will coordinate with them to ensure the child receives proper care at the earliest.

School Diary and Communication:

  • The school diary serves as a primary mode of communication between parents and teachers. Parents should check and sign it regularly when circulars or updates are sent.
  • Any changes to contact information, such as phone numbers, addresses, or email IDs, must be updated with the school office immediately.
